Our story

We started Hardshell to bring AI security where it matters most: into mission-critical environments where failure isn’t an option.

With decades of combined experience securing AI and cyber systems across the DOD and Intelligence Community, we saw a dangerous gap: adoption of AI models was accelerating, but the sensitive data behind them remained exposed. We built Hardshell to close that gap.

Today, we’re building the foundational layer of the AI security stack, a model-agnostic, data-centric platform that protects systems before deployment, not after compromise.
